Biggest Pro.. the owners. They are the nicest people! So friendly and welcoming, it felt like staying with friends. We were very sad to leave. You can book your exact site on their website by clicking HERE.
The entire campground has a Western Cowboy Theme, we loved it! Site signs, lamp post, No detail was left out.
Look at the detail on this fire pit.. It was so awesome to see with a fire going!
We stayed in sight #10 that was Just Dandy.
They require pads under your stabilizers, but again you don’t have those they will loan them to you. (We carry 2 sets.)
The hookups are all one well laid out location. There is a soft light that keep them light all night.
Each site has a picnic table and covered charcoal grill. Forgot your table cloth? No problem they will loan you one.
Most sites back up or pull in facing the river.
They have hammacks, swings, and gliders along the river bank for you sit and enjoy.
Every site comes with a free 1hr Khaki rental. The river is not very deep 10 feet at the deepest, and normally very clear. I took these photos after a heavy rain, so not very clear. They allow swimming during the summer months here! They every have a tire swing!
Laundry House with washers and dryers.. on the honor system. You do your laundry and settle up with them in the office when you have a chance.
It is next to a busy road, and there can be road noise. I did not find it to be enough to bother us inside or outside our camper.
There are 2 Food Cities and Walmart Neighborhood within a 3 mile drive of the campground. Weigels with diesel pumps, is at the entrance to the campground. Walgreen’s is directly across the road.
Everything is on an honor system. Fire wood, Ice, Ice Cream inside the store, Laundry, etc… you just settle up when you leave.
They will have a pool installed by next summer!
#LOLOHO has site #12 named after them here!
