I like to use Chili as a base for a couple of different meals… Chili, Frito Pies, On baked potatoes, Chili buns and hotdogs. I am not a fan of a super spicy, Hot Chili. So I have been trying to find something that is quick, easy, mild and delicious. I finally did it, and I am going to share it with you! Using my 4 quart pressure cooker like an electric skillet, making this a one pan meal!
Quick Chili in a Pressure Cooker
(In my 4-quart Elite Pressure cooker using it like an electric skillet.)
Ingredients you will need:
1lbs of Ground Chuck
1 – 14.5oz cans of diced tomatoes, undrained
1 – package of McCormick Chili skillet sauce
1- 15 oz can Kidney Beans, drained (optional)
Optional toppings –
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Use the pressure cookers Brown/sauté setting. (If your cooker does not have this setting you can choose any setting with at least 10 minutes.) Now brown the hamburger meat.
Using a colander drain the grease from the now brown hamburger meat.
After draining meat, replace it in the pot. Now add in the UNDRAINED can of tomato’s.
Stir the tomato’s until they are distributed evenly in the meat.
Step Four :
Add one package of McCormick Chili skillet sauce and mix evenly.
Step Five :
Now enjoy some Chili, add your favorite toppings!!
