Location directly less than a mile of Interstate 75 is easy to find and explore the area. The sites are nice and level. The camp host is a local guy, he is very friendly and helpful. The campground is well maintained and landscaped.
My view of our site from my hammock in the trees by the creek.
Gravel level lots with a picnic table on a concrete paid at every site.
There is a nice playground directly in the center of the campground and can be seen from any site.
The Bathhouse was clean and updated.
The connections are all gathered in the same area.
The fire rings are stone and have a steel interior sleeve.
There is a shallow creek that follows directly behind the campground, There is a tire swing, benches and large seating stones. This was a great area for kids to play and hag hammocks (we did)!
They are “Big Rig” friendly in most sites. Our Minnie is 28 feet. Our site we would park the Minnie, the Ford F-250 , and my Toyota Highlander .. end to end and still would not have been in the roadway.
The park is small. At the time of our stay 17 RV sites, how ever they were in the process of adding 9 more RV sites. The park has no security other than cameras at the bathhouse and the onsite host. It is adjacent to the parking lot of the water park and anyone can come in. With they said.. they have zero problems since they opened in 2001.
The Creek .. We had a rain shower while there. The shallow creek rose quickly and became rushing. It was not a danger to the campground, but keep this mind if you have small children playing there. They could easily be swept away.
BOOK ONLINE EARLY!! They do book up quick and rarely have cancellations. We booked a June stay in March and everything was booked up thru Labor day the first of April. So BOOK NOW for 2019!!!
Fee to enter the water park is $10 per person. Weekends are crazy, you are better off with weekdays.

About a 45 minute drive to the Cumberland Falls State Park. (Worth a drive.)
There is a Walmart within a half mile drive and several restaurants.
There was a great Mexican Steakhouse named Torres. I am a lover of nachos, so of course I had them here. They were delicious..
