Pros:

It is surrounded by the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. The bath houses have recently been renovated, very clean and are extremely nice. They have motion sensor – heat lights, that come on when you enter. Each shower room has on demand hot water, with a tall shower head and a hand held shower sprayer. Each loop has its own bath house. Each bath house has 2 of these shower rooms, a men’s and a women’s restroom. The restroom lights also have motion sensor lights.

There are 41 electric hookups but only in loops B & C . There are no water hookups in any of the sites. Potable is available at the dump station. The dump station offers 2 lanes.

Cons:

Electric hookups only available in loops B & C. Sites are on a low sloping hill, so most are unlevel. Several of the fire rings are very close to the camper parking, be sure to check this before detaching your rig.

Interesting facts:

Be sure to stop into the National Park visitor center. The town of Cumberland Gap is only about 3 miles away and has a couple of “small town” restaurants and shops. Just down the road in Virginia is The Wilderness Road State Park.
