Pros:
It is surrounded by My Old Kentucky Home Park grounds and golf course. Our view was of the golf course very private. It was easy to locate. Most are spacious, it is very much a park like setting. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Upon check-in they give you brochures for all the local attractions.
Cons:
Only real downside we found was the water and electric hookups are on the in the middle of 2 sites. So our hookups end up being on the wrong side of the camper. We needed both our 25 foot electric extension cord and 2 – 25 foot water hoses to get to our hookups. As you can see the water and electric cords were run under our mat.
Interesting facts:
As part of their Fourth of July celebration the Stephen Foster Theater of Bardstown does a fireworks display. It is located on the other side of the golf course. We walked onto the golf course from the campground and had an excellent view.
At the front of the campground is an open park area. On Sunday mornings at 9 am a church service is open to everyone.
