We moved into our new Minnie 2455bhs this weekend. I have been researching curtains to close the bunks and give the girls a sense of “privacy”. I was worried about area flow in the bunks and temperature control for when we stopped over-night without hookups. The 2455 model has a USB charging port in the top bunk area and a light in both bunks. I am having a second set of USB charging ports installed in the lower bunk. Two teen girls come with a lot of devices that apparently the world comes to a halt if the battery on those devices goes dead. The suggestion seen most was to use battery operated fans. I am not much for carrying a ton of batteries around and have really found a reliable battery operated version.
During a quick run to the nearest store for supplies, which happens to be a Dollar General, I come across these small fans.
They are all metal. They can be powered by USB port or they have an adapter to plug into a regular 110 outlet. They have an adjustable stand. We found them in purple, black and silver for $8.50.

I used a command hook to hang them near the opening to the bunks. They worked great. The girls said they could feel the air flow and it worked as a white noise marker to help them sleep.
The purple matched the quilt Matty had picked for her bunk.

Hannah choose the black for bunk.

We put the silver in our bedroom. I have a 110 fan just like this but we can use the USB when boondocking on this one so we will trading the fan out.
Here are a couple links to very similar fans and the command hooks, if you are not able to locate one at a Dollar General. As always HAPPY CAMPING!!
